As long as there is technology, there will be people on one spectrum obsessing over it and pushing the envelope, and people on the other end bemoaning machine’s takeover of the human race, i.e. the day we all get microchips implanted in us by the government.
You’ve surely heard both, and with this news coming from Nokia, both sides are sure to get louder.
According to a post by Mashable, Nokia is seeking a patent that would allow users to use a vibrating call signaler two ways. Says Mashable:
“In addition to being attached to your body in fabric form, the patent also suggests producing the same effect with ferromagnetic ink in the form of a tattoo. Ink would be demagnetized before it was placed on your body, and then magnetized again once your “Mom” tattoo was complete.”
Quite the frontier for mobile should this actually materialize. Kind of an odd idea but as long as we still don’t have jet packs, we’ll take it.
