Somewhere out there, the head honchos of MySpace are shaking in their boots (and likely not updating their statuses about it — we’re looking at you, Timberlake). Why? Because Facebook has added a music feature to artist pages.
Using services like Spotify and MOG, fans can now hit the “listen” button to the upper right of the page (where the message button is for users).
We predict this could be the nail in the coffin for MySpace, which was already half dead anyway, and it was definitely a missed opportunity for Google+, which has got to be on its way out considering the waning number of users.
Some part of us wonders why Facebook took so long, but it’s just another reason the internet’s most popular site will stay exactly that.
