Brand Activations: Performa15 Opening Night & Gala | ‘Fortuna Desperata’

On Sunday, November 1, 2015, Performa celebrated their 10th Anniversary Biennial’s opening night with Fortuna Desperata, a performance collaboration between dancer David Hallberg and artist Francesco Vezzoli. The stunning Renaissance-themed costumes were custom made by Prada. Together they revived and translated ballet’s beginnings and the renaissance period of pageantry.
The 2015 Gala celebration also included an intimate dinner at the Four Seasons Restaurant followed by the premiere performance at St. Bart’s Church. The evening concluded with a cocktail reception sponsored by our client AVIV Vodka following the performance, complete with a beautiful Renaissance art-bar.
AVIV Vodka served the official Performa15 craft cocktail, the AVIV MEDICI. The MEDICI was conceived by Create Blueprint to compliment the theme of the evening and was garnished with mint leaves which were said to have restorative power during this time period.
